WE use the term for blobs of leftover oatmeal (some would say 'patties' but ours always look more like blobs) fried in either butter or bacon grease or even palm oil or whatever. Apparently true scrapple has meat in it as well. I followed you over from Montessori Makers....Hello! I followed you over from Montessori Makers..and I LOVE the blog title.. <br /><br />But, I was wondering what scrapple is. Sometimes we'll have oatmeal left over & if we've plenty of milks (vegans-almond,oat,coconut, rice) I won't make oatmilk out of it but give it to the compost.
